Beach Volleyball Training Camps - Selection Trials 2007

The road to selection for the Coca Cola Beach Volleyball Festival in Bray has been finalised, the following players will take to the main arena on Sat 14th & Sun 15th July.

The Volleyball Association would like to thank all the athletes that took part in the two Training Camps held at Portmarnock Co Dublin, and also congratulations to the successful athletes who were selected. These 12 players chosen were:

 

Women

Team 1 Doireann Counihan & Miriam Gormally

Team 2 Leanne Dignam & Alena Dvorakova

Team 3 Katrina Polaski & Lina Klimkeviciute

Alternate Deirdre Fleming

 

Men

Team 1 Slawomir Wresniak & Daniel Apanowicz

The Bray event is even bigger and better this year being extended to a two-day festival with RTE covering the action. There is a great line up of semi pro stars from USA with both Kathleen Madden (last years queen of the beach) and Kirsten Olsen returning and US Men's pair David Fischer and Jack Quinn making their first visit here.
